Our elementary curriculum focuses on creating a strong foundation in reading and math through daily repetition and an emphasis on phonics. Class sizes are kept small (under 20 per class) to allow for individualized attention. Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace and our multi-age classrooms provide opportunities for both acceleration and remediation.

Our yearly theme encourages students to explore history and science through hands-on activities, research projects, and historical re-enactments. Many of these projects are planned school-wide, so that younger and older students have opportunities for learning from each other.

Each elementary student also participates in daily classes in music, dance and visual art.
